Series III. Visits to other sites, 1984-1992, 1994, undated 6.67 linear feet (8 boxes)
Records comprise photographic prints, polaroids, contact sheets, slides, and negatives, dating 1984-1994 and undated. The majority of the images document the international research tour undertaken by Richard Meier & Partners, accompanied by a team of leaders from the J. Paul Getty Trust. The group journeyed to museums and research institutions, primarily in North America and Europe, to study other sites as part of the planning process for the Getty Center. Photographers represented include Getty staff members Steve Rountree, Gloria Gerace, Tim Whalen, and Ellen Wirth.
