Finding aid for the Massimo Bontempelli papers, 1865-1991
Series VI. Paola Masino papers, 1956-1982, undated ca. 1 lin. ft. 2 boxes
This series contains fragmentary or miscellaneous materials found among the Bontempelli papers, written by or belonging to Paola Masino, the writer who was Bontempelli's companion for the last thirty years of his life, and the person primarily responsible for organizing and maintaining the Bontempelli papers until they were sold. The most complete item is a typewritten translation of a novel which is most likely Barbey d'Aurevilly's Il cavaliere des touches, though it has not been possible to verify this.
