Audio and video tape recordings document Erich Mendelsohn lectures "Two Alternatives
for the Future of Architecture," his address to young architects at the University of
Oklahoma (1953), the 50th anniversary celebration of the I.G. Metal, Workers Union
House, Berlin, and one video tape recording of the Erich Mendelsohn exhibition "Memories
and Visions" (1977). This series also includes slide and microfilm copies of Erich
Mendelsohn lectures, sketches and models in the Kunstbibliothek (Berlin) and University
Museum, Berkeley.
Items are arranged chronologically within each medium: 14 slides, 6 sound cassettes and
1 sound tape reel, 1 VHS videocassette, 7 reels 35mm microfilm. Audiovisual items have
been numbered by the repository, C1-C6, R1, V1, M1-7. Online access to digitized
audio and video recordings is available to on-site readers and Getty
staff.
