The Anne Willan and Mark Cherniavsky Gastronomy Collection includes an inventory of food supplies dating from the reign of Catherine de' Medici (1519-1589), four handwritten cookbooks by English authors dating from 1672 to 1775, an 18th-century handwritten cookbook by an unknown French author, a letter by the French gastronomist Alexandre Grimod de La Reynière (1758-1837), and manuscripts dating from 1570 to 1851 that document food supplies and prices in France.
