Herms (George) Papers
Series V. Research materials, 1913-2009, undated 7.3 Linear Feet (18 boxes)
The bulk of this series is a collection of newspaper, journal and magazine clippings with some featuring Herms' friends and artists such as Dennis Hopper, Walter Hopps, Man Ray, Betty Asher, Jack Kerouac, Masami Teraoka, Billy Al Bengston, Ed Moses, Charles Simic and Frank Gehry. Also included are photocopied materials, a few store catalogs, and black-and-white photographs relating to Herms' projects and interests.
Arrangement
Arranged in two subseries. First subseries is arranged chronologically with undated materials at the end. Second subseries is arranged alphabetically based on topics, most as originally labeled by Herms.

Comprises clippings from various newspaper, journals and magazines featuring artists and their works.
