This series contains mostly black-and-white prints, contact sheets, negatives,
transparencies, and slides of civil rights, Vietnam War, and political protests
documented by Brittin during the 1950s-1970s. Some files also contain photographs taken
by Brittin's wife, Barbara, and other photographers. Along with these photos are various
related posters, publications, clippings, ephemera, and other papers. Unidentified
photographs of political movements and protests are filed at the end of the series.
