Series II.A. primarily contain black and white photographs, contact sheets, negatives
and color slides of civil rights protests during the 1950s-1970s. CORE protests form
the bulk of this section. Some files also contain photographs taken by Brittin's wife,
Barbara, and other photographers. Along with these photographs are related papers,
clippings, ephemera and posters.
