Series VI.B. Photographic inventory of 1008 frescoes, undated

Feet
The second element of Vander Poel's Museo archeologico documentation project was to
provide photographic documentation of the frescoes not on public display. Vander Poel
photographed the frescoes housed in seven storerooms of the museum. These paintings
had little or no documentation due to the loss of the catalog. Vander Poel intended to
identify the paintings and trace their provenance. The frescoes have been arranged by
subject.
