The materials in this subseries date from 1873 to the late 1990s and document the various members of the Cramer family's business dealings, housekeeping, and professional and personal life.
Also present are lists of artworks, annotated auction catalogs, a few certificates of authenticity, numerous press clippings and wholes issues of newspapers, occasional invoices and commission agreements, tax documents and other financial documents. Filed at the end are papers documenting an exhibition held at the G. Cramer Oude Kunst gallery in The Hague in 1939 of artworks by the Hungarian artist István Zádor.

The first group in this subseries is arranged chronologically by year; the second group is arranged alphabetically by title.
By date, 1901-1993, undated
The materials in this group date from 1901 to 1993 and include business, housekeeping, and personal documents of Max Cramer, Gustav Cramer, and Hans Max Cramer.
The earliest item is Max Cramer's business account book for the years 1901 to 1918.
The items dating from the time of World War II are predominantly housekeeping invoices, bills, and receipts. Present are documents related to Gustav Cramer's professional activities as an art dealer, such as receipts and invoices from clients, business cards, notes, and lists of artworks. Also present are printed matter, financial documents, and letters issued by the German government which shed light on Gustav Cramer's and his family's personal situation under the Nazi occupation in the Netherlands.
The postwar documents are items related to Hans Max Cramer's professional activities as an art dealer, including press clippings, printed matter and a few financial documents, such as receipts or invoices from clients. Present are his commission agreements with Heinrich Becker and the estate of Ernst Proehl.
Also included with this subseries are Gustav Cramer's tax and other financial documents for the years 1951 and 1959 to 1963.

Present is a printed anouncement of an exhibition organized by Curt Valentin of artworks by Henry Moore at the Buchholz Gallery (folder 16), and several typed or handwritten lists of artworks with prices (folder 18). Also present is a plan of an appartment executed by hand in pencil and watercolor (folder 21), and printed ephemera from the time of the Third Reich (folder 22).

The materials in this group date from 1873 to the late 1990s and include predominantly personal documents of the various members of the Cramer family, such as passports and other identification cards, school records, legal documents, and family photographs. Also present are lists of artworks from the private collections of Hans Georg von Arnim, Meta van Dam, Eisenmann-Schneider, and the Henschel family; several architectural plans by Giachem Arquint; a collection of newspapers and magazines predominantly from the time of World War II; a collection of press clippings; and papers documenting an exhibition held in 1939 at the G. Cramer Oude Kunst gallery in The Hague of artworks by the Hungarian artist István Zádor. Several files document Hans Max Cramer's community and professional engagements in urban development initiatives in The Hague, the Rotary Club, and CINOA [Confédération Internationale de Négociants en Oeuvres d'Art]. Personal family photographs are also present. Various notes and other printed matter ar filed at the end.
Filed with this group are numerous invoices and a few commission agreements which at the gallery were not filed together with the Accounts files (Series II.A.). Present are several prewar and wartime invoices and commission agreements, including invoices written to the art historian and Nazi agent Erhard Göpel and to the director of the Dresden Gemäldegalerie Hans Posse who was in charge of collecting artworks for Adolf Hitler's planned art museum in Linz, Austria, the so-called Sonderauftrag Linz.

Also present are several statements written by various people in 1945 regarding Gustav Cramer's conduct as a Dutch citizen under the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Included are personal medical records.

Newspapers, magazines, and press clippings, 1940s-1990s
Among the newspapers and flyers are German and Dutch wartime Nazis-associated publications, such as Deutsche Zeitung in den Niederlanden, National Zeitung, Das Reich,De Residentiebode, Signal, Volk en Vaderland, and Het Vaderland. Also present are two issues of Aufbau, an American newsletter published during World War II by the German-Jewish Club in New York City; the Dutch underground press during World War II Oranje-Bulletin; and Dutch newspapers issued immediately followig the liberation of the Netherlands, such as De Bevruding [Bevryding] and De Nieuwe Amsterdammer. The press clippings are predominantly of articles about Hans Max Cramer and the G. Cramer Oude Kunst gallery, art fairs and auctions in the Netherlands, and other current events and developments in Dutch art trade. Press clippings regardings the painting Juno by Rembrandt are shelved in Series V.B. under the dates 1965-1966, 1977 (box 331 folder 2 and box 837* folder 2). Press clippings regarding the painting Carnival by Hieronimus Bosch are shelved in Series V.B. under the topic Bosch (box 326 folder 2).
